Math 149. Capstone Mathematics for Teachers.
Service Learning Plan
Make a list of completed and planned field experience activities.
For each activity, indicate:
- date(s),
- name of activity (e.g. Fresno Math Circle, AMC Prep, Math Kangaroo Prep, Field Day Prep, etc.),
- place (Fresno State or school name),
- hours completed or anticipated (group prep meetings plus contact hours).
Please include:
- Completed activities,
- Scheduled activities,
- Planned but not yet scheduled activities (e.g., Math Field Day, Math Kangaroo competition, lesson observation, etc.)
Compute the total (completed and anticipated) number of hours. If it is 20 or above, then it sounds like you have a good plan.
If it is below 20, please sign up for more activities, plan observations, etc. If needed, seek help from your instructor on how to fulfill your hours.
